An expert at stylish, precision calligraphy, Faust is known for his sharp and stylish calligraphic letterforms. The New York City-based artist was named in Juxtapoz Magazine’s “Top 20 Graffiti Artists to Know Right Now” and Paper Magazine’s “Young NYC Artists Shaking Things Up.” His work has been featured in the “Le Tag” exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris, and he collaborated with the Graffiti Research Lab art collective on “Design and the Elastic Mind” at the Museum of Modern Art. Faust’s clients include Nike, Faberge, New Era Caps, Soho House, Def Jam Records, Comedy Central, Absolut, Samsung, and Lincoln Motor Company. During “Writes of Spring,” Faust painted his largest mural up to that point: a XXXX-foot phrase wrapping the corner of two buildings at Atlantic and Greenleaf. The huge black letters spell out “All That Matters,” which is a tribute to his late graffiti partner, Sure.
